| The footbridge at Rijeka in Croatia by 3LHD is a memorial to the fallen in the Balkan wars and is a gentle and highly sophisticated monument that at the same time complements and helps complete the public spaces of the city. The most sophisticated modern technology is used quietly and with no ostentation.
